  • Prayer Journal - November 2009

Dear Prayer Partners,  Yes, we are now working out of Joplin, MO. area until Dec. 15.  That is when we will go to the West coast to see Reuben and Raquel.  It is very rewarding to be close to our children this time of year.

We have left the camp in charge of Pepe, Rocio's cousin, again this year.  There are some very exciting things beginning to take place at the camp.  Because of these, we want to thank you for your continued partnership....We have a group of 110 that are wanting to use the camp the second week of February..  This is just two weeks after we return to Ecuador.  Yes, this is the largest group that the camp has every hosted.  For this we need some major prayer.

Please pray for the following needs that must be in place before we can host this group:

    • 20 double bunk beds - $2,000
    • 40 mattresses - $1,500
    • Five inside wood doors - $200
    • Six dining room tables - $600
    • 60 plastic chairs for the chapel - $600

These are the major items needed and the total is almost $5,000.  When all of this is in place we will be able to open the new 9/11 dorm which has been under construction since 2001.  In addition to this group of 110 using the camp for three nights and four days, we have another group of 85 coming in March for four nights and five days.  Yes, 2010 is beginning to look like the best year for the Perhaps Today Camp.  It truly excites us to see how the Christians of Ecuador are being blessed because of your partnership with them!!

Thank you for your additional assistance and prayers for the camp.  May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.  We have so much to be thankful for.

Jerry Ferguson has stepped down as our forwarding agent due to the many other activities that he is involved with.  Please send your ECM gifts to:

Also, Rocio's health continue to improve day by day and we are so grateful for your prayers for us during this time of healing.

    Blessings,

    Perhaps...today...
