Greetings prayer partners:

We had a safe flight through Atlanta into the states on June 11. It is always good to visit with our children after a few months absence. Al was able to make many trips to visit with some of our churches and many of our friends. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our first fund raising expeditions. What is very pleasing to us is that most of our supporters and prayer warriors now have been with us that long as well. To God be the glory!!

Baby Ezekiel

Ezekiel Robert Paco Jobe was born on June 23 at 5:50 PM. This is our youngest daughter, Priscilla's first child. He weighed in at 8.10 oz and was 21 inches long. Yes, all boy with long black hair, for now at least. This was the first time that Al had been in the hospital for a birth. Rocio enjoyed begin able to help with the delivery. Yes, we both are enjoying being grandparents of ten now.

Most of our family got together to enjoy time together in Branson, MO, for the week of July 18 - July 25. Because of the distance and time restraints, Reuben and his family were not able to join us and also Raquel's husband, Kevin, could not get time off from work. However, there were 16 of us. It has been four years since we were all be together; care to guess how many babies have been born since then?

The camp has continued onward for Jesus during our absence. Three groups were hosted without us. We are so pleased that the work continued like that without us. That shows us just how it will continue during our relocation to the States. Please pray with us as we search out God's direction with this transition, including the timing.  Both Rocio and I believe that the transition should be soon but look at what God did with Moses when he was 80!!

Al returned to Ecuador July 27 in order to help with four large camps in five weeks time. (Rocio will follow the end of August) This will be the busiest that the camp has ever been in just a few short weeks. Each of the groups should be 60 or more, with two of them greater than 90. Please pray with us as two of these camps are with a new church for us. May they decide to make the Perhaps Today Camp their camp of choice.

The plantanes (cooking bananas) are almost ready for harvesting. We will be able to harvest them every few months from now on. They will be sold locally and then shipped to Peru or to the mountains above the camp. We planted the cooking bananas to help shade the chocolate trees; the chocolate trees are growing nicely.  After another two years or so, the majority of the cooking banannas will be removed to provide more room for the chocolate trees. The money from these sales will help the camp with some much needed income.

We continue to receive great reviews from the camps on how Jesus is changing lives after a time spent at the camp. This has been
our desire since we first began that people would use the camp as a springboard to a changed life for Christ. Pray with us as we keep making improvements to the camp for God's glory.

A Bible college classmate of ours, Dr. Tom Lawson and his wife, Linda, are now in Houston, Texas, where Linda is receiving cancer treatment. She also is a college professor at Ozark Christian College. Pray that this treatment will be successful. Again, to God be the glory.

With our return to Ecuador, our prayer is that we can locate an Ecuadorian couple to work as camp managers with us. The work is becoming just more than Rocio and I can do alone. The major drawback on this arrangement is funding. So please pray for the funds to come in so that we can add additonal workers. We believe that if they can start part time, it would take around $500 a month. In additon to this couple, please pray for at least two additonal couples from the States or Canada to come down and pick up the cross at the camp. The fields are truly white unto harvest now and there is no better time for the Ecuadorian Christians to win their neighbors for Jesus.

Thank you for your continued prayers; and as always, your financial support is much needed and greatly appreciated. Please send your donations to:
